Mrs. Shonney Laccenda Price Testerman, age 46, of West Jefferson passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at her residence. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 3:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Speaker Barry Trivette officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00pm on Monday; two hours prior to the memorial service. Mrs. Testerman was born in Ashe County on October 18, 1970 to Gary Douglas and Belinda Gay Smith Price. She worked at Murphy's Gas as a cashier. She attended Shelter Baptist Church. Shonney enjoyed travelling, fishing and hunting. She was a loving mother; she will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by a nephew, David Lewis; a uncle, Walter Smith; aunt and uncle, Ellis and Carol Roark; uncle, Bill Colvard; three sets of grandparents. Mrs. Testerman is survived by: her husband, Mark Testerman, of Lansing; a son, Joshua Testerman, of West Jefferson; her parents, Doug Price and Linda Price, of West Jefferson; two brothers, Mickey Price and fiancé Melissa, of Creston and Scott Price and wife, Ailsa, of Blairs, VA; a sister, Natisha Roten, of Boone; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews also survive.
