I remember Dot as she served on the Lansing Board of Aldermen. A feisty, smart lady who cared so much about the town. We had some interesting conversations and I will miss her, even as I have missed her presence on the town board.

Dear Family,
I just heard about Dot and I am so very sorry. I worked for Dot for a year and a half part-time on weekends. She was not only a wonderful employer but also a wonderful Friend.
I remember sitting around talking and the laughter. And I especially remember the love she had for her family. She was a very proud Mama and Grandma.

I had the privilage of going to church with Dot for a few years, and will miss her dearly. I have never seen anyone put forth so much effort in a Bible school program as she did every year. I will always have the memories of purchasing pocket knives from her at the store as a small child. My prayers are with the family.

My Aunt Dot was one of the kindest, sweetest and most loving ladies you could have ever met. She had so much love in her heart for David and her grandchildren. She wanted the people in her life to be happy. I will miss her so much b/c she was not only my aunt but my friend. She is finally at rest with her beloved Mack, her daddy, Sissy and my daddy. I will miss her terribly but she is in a much better place with no more pain and suffering. I will always love you Dot!

My condolences to the entire family during this sad time. While I did not know Dot personally, I feel I grew to know your family a bit through her brother, Gary.
May you all find some peace within your grief and know that so many are thinking of you at this time.
