It's hard to believe Chris is gone. I used to see him a lot when we were younger---I hardly ever saw my cousin, Matt, with Chris not around. I remember Chris, Matt, my brother Chris, and myself used to always play ball, cards, or video games. We usually had a lot of fun. It's been years since I've seen Chris, but I'm glad he was living a happy life. May God bless his soul and his family in this sad time.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God does not put more on you that you can bear. I know it may seem hard to bear this right now, but look to the hills and know that you will make through. I had a good friend that lost her husband in autobile accident eary this year. We buried him one Thursday and the next Thursday she gave birth to their second son. She too thought it was to much to bear. She has two reminders everyday of the love and joy she received from her husband. Just you have two beautiful children that you will be able two hold on to that will remind you of Chris' love and joy. May God Bless and Keep you in your time of breavement.

I have been sitting here trying to find a place to start, but it's not easy. Not only did I lose my big brother, I lost my only brother. He was a shoulder to lean on when I needed to cry and a friend when I wanted to laugh. Chris gave me a wonderful sister in law and two precious nephews(that remind me so much of him)for that I am eternally grateful. I was lucky to have almost 34 yrs. with Chris. We always had a special relationship,I can only remember one fight in those 34yrs.(we were teenagers and it was over the telephone)so as you could imagine that left alot of fun and special memories.HE WAS THE BEST BROTHER GOD COULD HAVE GIVEN ME!!! To all his friends(he had so many)TROY,JHON,ROBBIE,CHAD,JOSH, MATTHEW,I could not count the times he said you guys were his brothers. He would have done anything within his power for you. Chris was not perfect(no one is)but I know where his heart was-always trying to help anyone he could, anyway he could, with a smile on his face. I can only say the only peace I have found is knowing he renewed his vowes to God only a few weeks before his accident and my God says"seek and you will find" So my brother is in Heaven this I know, and knowing my brother he would want nothing more than to see his friends again. So all I ask is don't let this all be in vain. Life is to short,we never know when it's our time to go,but we can choose where we go. It's alot easier to grieve the loss of a loved one when you know the loved one is in heaven. If you loved Chris, you can honor him by honoring his Lord and PERSONAl savior. Thanks to everyone that has prayed for me and my family"God is healing our hearts" WHEN SOMEONE BECOMES A MEMORY,THE MEMORY BECOMES A TREASURE"

Mechelle and family:
Mechelle, I know I hadn't seen you since we were in high school at Northwest Ashe, but I wanted to send heartfelt condolences to you and your family for Chris. A family member had asked me if I knew him, and he had changed since school, so I didn't recognize the picture at first. When I realized, I could not believe it. Looks like he has a beautiful family, and you have so much of your brother that will live on. Memories will also keep him close to you.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
