Sandy was born in Ashe County the daughter of the late Fred Elliott and Anita Childers Miller. She is a graduate of the Jefferson Elementary, Ashe Central High School and she attended Wilkes Community College. Sandy is a licensed cosmetologist and was the co-owner of "The Gap" hair salon in Jefferson for over twenty years. She has two children, Brent and Brittany and three lovely grandchildren Blake,  Jackson and Kaelyn Lawrence. Sandy is a member of the Beaver Creek Christian Church. Sandy resides in the West Jefferson community with her husband David.

Randy is a Funeral Director Assistant. He is a native of Ashe County and resides with his wife, Deanna and daughter, McKenzie in Crumpler, NC. He served as a Paramedic for over 20 years in the Ashe County area. He is a member of the Ashe Masonic Lodge #594.

Larry is a native of Ashe County. He has served in the funeral profession for over 30 years and started in funeral service working with David & J.D. Boone in the 1980's. Larry is the pastor of the Tuckerdale Baptist Church in Lansing. He enjoys traveling, fishing and gardening.

Glenn was a supervisor at Gates Rubber Company and retired in Spring of 2008. He is a member at Meadowview Mennonite Church. Glenn is a dedicated husband and father and enjoys spending time with his family. In his spare time he also enjoys farming.

Bob Furches, Funeral Director Assistant

Bob is a life long native of Ashe County and a graduate of Ashe Central High School and Kings College. He is married to Phyllis Hash Furches and they reside in Bald Mountain Community in West Jefferson, NC. They are active members of Midway Baptist Church. They have two daughters Tonya Lee and husband, Sherman and Michelle Gibbs. Six grandchildren, Matthew Lee, Ashton Lee Craven and husband, Keaton Craven, Nate Lee, Madison Lee, Dean Gibbs and Berkley Gibbs. Bob retired after 45 years in banking, as Ashe County Market Executive from Yadkin Bank in December 2016 and served most of the time here in Ashe County. Bob has served in following   Honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corp; Past Member Ashe County ADAP Board of Directors; Past Member DSS Board of Directors; Member Ashe Masonic Lodge#594; Member of York Right; Member of Ashe Shrine Club; Past Deacon of Bald Mountain Baptist Church; Past Chairman of the Deacons  Bald Mountain Baptist Church; Past Budget and Fiance Committee of Bald Mountain Baptist Church; Past Budge and Fiance Committee of Midway Baptist Church.

Bucky is an Ashe County native. He graduated from Ashe Central High School and Wilkes Community College. He worked for the Ashe County Sheriff's Department for 37 years. He lives in the Crumpler area of the county. He has a son, Dustin and his wife Katie and a granddaughter. Hattie. Bucky attends West Jefferson First Baptist Church and resides in the Crumpler community.
