FAMILY IDENTIFICATION

A very basic service which allows for the immediate family to make a identification of the deceased and pay their respects prior to the body being transported to the crematory. This service does not include any rites or ceremonies. Included in this offering is the Basic Professional Services of the Funeral Director and Staff and appropriate preporation of the body.

We have included in this offering the Crematories charges as well as a Standard Cremation Container "required by state law and the crematory" and a basic Urn.

A set time for family and friends to visit, share memories and show support.

This package includes many of the desired service elements todays consumer wants while offering a very economical option.  Included in this offering is the Basic Professional Services of the Funeral Director and Staff, appropriate preporation of the deceased, family identification prior to the cremation, limited gathering time for the family and friends at our facilities, all crematory charges, standard cremation container and the choice of a permanent memorial urn.

CREMATION WITHOUT CEREMONY

Our Cremation Without Ceremony or "Direct Cremation" service is our most basic offering. This service is without any attendant rites or ceremonies and includes the removal and temporary shelter of the remains from a local hospital, nursing home or residence within Ashe County. The body is then bathed, dressed and placed in the minimum cremation container or approved container of the families choice, delivered to the crematory in our vehicle by our staff, personally picked up and returned to the funeral home by our staff. Necessary legal and administrative details are completed by our funeral directors and the cremated body is returned to the authorized next-of-kin.

This service does not include any merchandise.
