Deanna Trivett Farmer, age 69, of Farmer Store Road, in Lansing went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, VA. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2009 at 11:00am at Farmers Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Greer officiating. Burial will follow in the Farmer Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Friday, April 9, 2009 at Boone Family Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her parents William Leopart Trivett and Ollie Mae Lefler Trivett; a grandson, Derek Farmer. She is survived by her husband, Millard (Bill) Farmer, of Lansing; a daughter, Darlene Trone and husband, Donnie, of Leesburg, VA; three sons, Danny Farmer and wife, Phema, of Lansing, NC, Billy Farmer and wife, Tammy, of Lansing, NC and Rick Farmer and wife, Angie, of Jefferson, NC; seven sisters, Jean Elmore, of Thorpe, WV, Ortha Taylor, of Lansing, Dorthey Vannoy and husband, Curley, of Damascus, VA, Vivian Hayes, of Chilihowie, VA, Chalott Fountain, of Salem, VA, Carrie Blevins and husband, Herb, of Konnarocck, VA and Lala Blevins and husband, of Konnarock, VA; six grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; two sister-in-laws, Gladys Trivett, of Konnarock, VA and Marie (Duck) Trivett, of Konnarock, VA; several nieces and nephews also survive.
