Ms. Ellgina Lavon Davis, better known as "Lavon", age 71, of Crumpler passed away Thursday afternoon, October 23, 2014 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Graveside service will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 11:00am at Senter Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Lonnie Jones officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service at the homeplace at 323 Davis Road in Crumpler. Ms. Davis was born in Ashe County to the late James Lillard and Exie Belle Roland Davis. She was an Agricultural Farmer. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy; three brothers, Pete Davis, Lundy Davis and Tommy Davis. Ms. Davis is survived by a brother, Jack Davis of Crumpler; a sister, Ella Mae Jenkins, of Crumpler; several nieces and nephews also survive. Flowers accepted!
