Mrs. Bonnie M. Knight, age 72, of West Jefferson passed away Tuesday morning, December 16, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2014 at 11AM at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Rickey Mitchell. Burial will follow in the Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10-11am at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Knight was born in Ashe County on September 2, 1942. She was a member of Green Valley Methodist Church. She loved her dogs and taking long walks. She was a kind and loving person and loved all her friends at the apartment complex. She is preceded in death by her husband; Burl Knight, a special friend; Dale Osborne, and a grandson; Justin Michael Knight. Mrs. Knight is survived one daughter; Callie Knight of Zionville, one grandson; Travis Jose Knight of Zionville, one granddaughter, April Isaacs and husband Dillon of Zionville, two great-granddaughters; Aliana Knight and Kinsley Isaacs both of Zionville, one great-grandchild on the way, and one special uncle; Waldo Parker of Landonburg, Pennsylvania.
