Obituary of Robin Rosella Brown

Mrs. Robin Woods Brown, age 55, of West Jefferson, passed away Wednesday evening, December 17, 2014 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 21, 2014 at 2PM at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Derick Hodges, Rev. Larry Shepherd, and Rev. Guy Testerman officiating. Burial will follow in the Wyatt Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1-2pm at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Brown was born in Ashe County on Tuesday, January 20, 1959 to the late Eugene "Gee" Woods and Thelma Roselle Wyatt. She was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting. Robin enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be missed by all. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Wilma Jean Woods. Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, Jerry Brown; two daughters, Amy Keys and husband Greg of Lansing, and Nikki Brown of West Jefferson, two sisters; Bonnie Woods of Lansing, and Nancy Miller and husband Lloyd of West Jefferson, four grandchildren; Kebina Keys, Valerie Keys, Carson Keys, and Mason Brown, her dog; Tinker, and several nieces and nephews also survive. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Mason Brown College Fund, 249 Dogwood Road, West Jefferson, NC 28694. The family is meeting at the home of her daughter, Amy Keys at 2208 Long Branch Road in Lansing.
