Mr. Clint Donald Miller, age 91, of West Jefferson passed away Sunday afternoon, December 28, 2014 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 11:00am at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Smith, Rev. Rick Miller and Rev. Wayne Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Severt Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00pm on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mr. Miller was born in Ashe County on Thursday, July 26, 1923 to the late John and Mary Miller. Clint was a member of Round Knob Baptist Church. He retired from Thomasville Furniture Company. He was also a cattle farmer. He loved to watch TV Land on television. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Candis Miller on July 28, 2001; two daughters, Anita Faye Miller and Mary Sue Miller; two sons, Donald Keith Miller and Ambrose Miller; four brothers, Luther Miller, John Miller, Jr., Everett Miller and Smith Miller; four sisters, Cary Severt, Goldie Miller, Clyde Cox and Pearl Barker. Mr. Miller is survived by four daughters, Wanda Dillard and husband, Mack Dale, of Randleman, Wilma Church and husband, Lowell Thomas, of Millers Creek, Brenda Graham and husband, Larry, of Germanton, NC and Rose Stidhams and husband, David, of West Jefferson; a brother, Shade Miller, of West Jefferson; a sister, Ada Polk and husband, Charles, of Mocksville; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; a caregiver, Kay Phillips; several nieces and nephews also survive.
