Mrs. Aliese Brown Wallace better known as "A" age 81 of Jefferson passed away Wednesday afternoon January 14, 2015 at Margate Health & Rehab Center. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 12:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Russell Sheets and Rev. Billy Joe Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in the Ashelawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-12pm on Wednesday, two hours prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Wallace was born in Buchanan County, Virginia on March 29, 1933 to the late Fred and Victoria Cole Brown. She retired from Leviton Mfg. Company. " A" enjoyed going to Hardee's with her friends and socializing. She loved her grandchildren. She was a loving mother and grandmother; she will be missed by all. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Joe Wallace; two brothers, Ralph Brown and Theodore Brown; one sister, Shirley Hunter. Mrs. Wallace is survived by two sons, J.W. Sheets and wife, Mary, of Jefferson and Ricky Sheets and wife, Teresa, of Creston; a daughter, Paula Bowlin and husband, Robert, of Wilkesboro; two sisters, Betty Altizer of Cleveland, Ohio and Geraldine Johnson, of Cedar Bluff, Virginia; two grandchildren, Joanna Bare, of Jefferson and Jason Sheets, of Jefferson; three great-grandchildren, Emma Sheets, Matthew Bare and Ethan Sheets; several nieces and nephews also survive. Flowers will be accepted or to the donor's choice.
