Mrs. Peggy Lou Miller Eldreth, age 76, of West Jefferson passed away Monday morning, February 9, 2015 at her residence. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 2PM at Midway Baptist Church with Rev. Steve LeaShomb, Rev. Ervel Jones, and Rev. Martha Kincaid and Speaker Rita Wood officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm on Saturday, one hour prior to the memorial service at Midway Baptist Church. Mrs. Eldreth was born in Ashe County on September 24, 1938 to the late Gleason Thomas and Rebecca Kate McGrady Miller. She was the owner of Eldreth's Motel. Peggy was a member of Midway Baptist Church. She enjoyed her trips with her sisters and friends to Las Vegas. She was a loving wife, mother and sister and will be missed by all. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Ned Eldreth and a brother, Junior Miller. Mrs. Eldreth is survived by one daughter; Kim Scott and husband Randall of Fleetwood, one step-son; Tony Eldreth and wife Sharon of West Jefferson, two sisters; Kay Baker and husband Austin of West Jefferson, and Eloise Pierce of Grassy Creek, two grandchildren; Trey Scott and Chase Scott, and four step grandchildren; Justin Eldreth, Rebecca Eldreth, Christopher Eldreth, and Dean Shatley also survive.
