Mr. Edgar Ray Willis, age 39, of Millers Creek passed away Friday, February 13, 2015 at Wilkes Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 2:00PM at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Dewayne Rathbone officiating. Burial will follow in the New Home Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 20, 2015 from 1-2pm, one hour prior to the funeral services. Mr. Willis was born in Randolph County on July 2, 1975 to the late Edgar Junior Willis and Jeanette Lawhorn. He is survived by his wife, Amanda “Jean” Willis; three sons, Edgar Ray Willis II of Liberty, NC, Zachary Absher of Millers Creek and Grayson Absher of Millers Creek; two daughters, Sandra Willis of Liberty, NC, and Summer Absher of Millers Creek; four brothers; and three sisters also survive.
