Dear Family,
I am deeply sorry for the loss of your beloved mother, and my precious great-aunt. She was such a sweet lady, and though I didn't get to see her often, my grandmother, Virginia, always kept me up to date on how she was doing. I know she's battled ups and downs with her illness for a long time now, and she was so brave and strong through all of it. I know she loved all of you so much and you all took such wonderful care of her. I hope you find comfort in knowing that she's in Heaven now with our Lord and Savior. Dearest family,
I am so sorry that I was out of town during Aunt Kathleen's services. Lisa contacted me and I was so saddened by the news. Mom, Glena and I had planned on going to see her the Sunday after I returned home. Sometimes you just put things off too long; Kathleen was always one of my favorite aunts. She was one of the sweetest, most humble Christian women that I ever known and when conversation came up about her and her family, I let people know she was part of mine! My thoughts, prayers and tears have been with you all this week and will continue.
