Mrs. Lorraine Parsons Norris, age 87, of Jefferson passed away Saturday morning, April 4, 2015 at Margate Health and Rehab Center. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 12:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Elledge officiating. Burial will follow in the Big Flatts Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:00pm on Wednesday, one hour prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Norris was born in Ashe County on Wednesday, August 24, 1927 to the late Emory and Lura Walker Parsons. She was a Homemaker. She was a member of Liberty Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was a loving mother and will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allie W. Norris. Mrs. Norris is survived by a son, Steve Mash and wife, Ginger, of North Wilkesboro also survive.
