Mr. Bobby Kenneth Ham, age 80, of Lansing passed away Monday, April 13, 2015 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 11:00am at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Francis, Minister Danny Miller, and Rev. Dan Hess officiating. Burial will follow in the Perry Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00am on Friday, April 17, 2015, one hour prior to the funeral service. Mr. Ham was born in Ashe County on Monday, February 11, 1935 to the late Leo Ham and Marie Perry Ham. Bobby was a member of Gillespie Community Church. He retired from General Motors. He was an avid sportsman of fishing and hunting. He was cattle farmer for most of his life. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Edna Mae Johnson Ham. Mr. Ham is survived by three sons; Gary Ham and wife Judy of Nottingham, PA, Greg Ham and wife Sharon of West Grove, PA, and Gerry Ham and wife Angie of Lansing; three daughters, Gloria Ham of Lansing, Gale Buchanan of Lansing, and Ginger McGuire and husband Phil of Villages, FL; one sister, Shelby Ham Weaver of Lansing; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
