Mr. William Michael Zgieb, Jr., age 40, of Todd passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Memorial Services will be held Monday, April 20, 2015 at 2PM at Blackburns Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Brandon Wrencher officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2PM at Blackburns Chapel United Methodist Church. Mr. Zgieb is survived by his son; Emmanuel Segura or Portland, Oregon, one daughter; Carolina Rayne Johnson of Boone, his father; William Michael Zgieb of Port Huron, Michigan, his mother; Debra Houck Battle of Swansboro, NC, his step-father; David Morgan Battle of Swansboro, NC, one brother; Joshua Joseph Zgieb and wife Janie of Augusta, Georgia, one sister; Lacie Marie Zgibe of Swansboro, NC; material grandmother; Edna Houck of Todd, paternal grandparents, Donald and Iona Zgieb of Port Huron, Michigan, nieces and nephews; Kyla Michelle Zgieb, Tyler Ray Wononski, Chandler Nicholas Wononski, Cameron Jordan Muller, Katelynn Marie Muller, and Gracie Annah Muller, a special aunt; Holly Winkler and husband Jeff.
