Liam Gabriel Wood, age 3, of West Jefferson, died Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 2:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Elledge, Rev. Larry Shepherd and Pastor Keith Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Glendale Springs Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00pm on Monday, two hours prior to funeral service. Liam Gabriel Wood was born on March 6, 2012 to Kirk and Ashley Weaver Wood. He is preceded in death by two siblings and his grandfather; Todd Wood. He is survived by his parents; Kirk and Ashley Weaver Wood, Paternal grandfather & grandmother; Jerry (better known as “Fluff”) and Geraldine Roten of Warrensville, Maternal Grandfather; Michael Calhoun of Jefferson, Maternal Grandfather & grandmother ; Jim and Jackie Gilley of Lansing, Maternal great grandmothers; Helen Weaver of Lansing and Betty Dancy of Jefferson, Paternal great grandparents; Bruce and Marie Dillard of Jefferson, two aunts; Kendra Turnmire of Lansing and Emily Calhoun of West Jefferson, three uncles; Rob Calhoun of West Jefferson, Robert Mitchell Hart of Lansing, and Matt Turnmire of Lansing, several great aunts and uncles also survive.
