Mr. Clyde Aaron Lewis, age 86, of Creston, expired Thursday morning, April 23, 2009 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 11:00am at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Peter Parish officiating. Burial will follow in the Lewis Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00am on Saturday, one hour prior to the funeral service. Mr. Lewis was born in Ashe County on Sunday, May 22, 1922 to the late Joe and Callie Woodard Lewis. He was an Agricultural Farmer. He was also preceded in death by six brothers. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Virginia Ruth Robinson Lewis; one brother, Henry Lewis and wife, Barbara of Creston; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews; very special friends, Frank Simpson, Fred and Jacqueline Eldreth, John and Wanda Woodard, Alfred and Amy Michaels and too many others to mention.
