To Mary and family, I send my most sincere condolences and prayers for healing and peace. I have known Mark all of his life and I remember the day he was born. I kept up with him on Facebook during his struggles with disease; disease that may have changed his body, but not his fighting spirit and he kept pounding until the Lord took him home. He was loved as are you all.

The first thing that impressed me about Mark when I first met him was his kind spirit. He had a gentle strength about him that not many people have. Because of that kindness, and that gentle strength, I think he left this world a better place for the people that knew him. I count it as a privilege to have known him, and to have called him my friend.

Dear Amy and Family,
As I sit here typing this it is hard for me to believe that Mark is really gone ahead of us already in heaven. I wish I knew what to say. I do know God's promises are still there for you to cling to one day at a time as you go thru this overwhelming season.

We never met but I know he loved you dearly. When Good Will first opened and Mark and I reconnected from high school days he told me the story of you moving here to be with him and how lucky he was to have you. His face lit up with love.
Mary, Angela, and Lisa,
I go back to the high school days when Lisa and Amy were such good buddies. Mark was always cutting up and making us laugh. He was indeed a special young man. They are so hard to come by these days.
