Mr. Sheldon Cozart, age 74, of West Jefferson passed away Monday afternoon, May 25, 2015 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 2PM at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Joey McClure and Rev. Tommy Dollar officiating. Burial will follow in the Obids Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 12-2pm at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mr. Cozart was born in Beckley, West Virginia on August 6, 1940 to the late Dorse and Charlotte Acord Cozart. He enjoyed coon hunting, camping, and fishing. He was also a Pittsburg Steelers fan. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. Mr. Cozart is survived his wife; Francis Cox Cozart, one son; Hank Cozart and wife Charita of West Jefferson, one daughter; Brenda Weaver and husband Tony of Warrensville, one brother; Leo Cozart of Crab Orchard, West Virginia, two sisters; Mary Huddson of MacArthur, West Virginia and Charlene Roark of Beckley, West Virginia, two grandchildren; Brandi Donaldson of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Tiffany Cozart of West Jefferson, two great-grandchildren; Hayden Donaldson and Ashton Donaldson, two special dogs; Gizmo and Madison, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
