Mr. Raymond Frederick Updike, Jr., age 79, of Fleetwood passed away August 2, 2015 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 3PM at Mount Jefferson Presbyterian Church with Pastor Will Heyward. Mr. Updike is survived by his wife Lynn Updike, one son; Michael Updike and wife Neidy of Tampa, FL, one daughter; Kathy Shuman and husband David of Margate, FL, one step-daughter; Cherie Gouldthorpe and husband Larry of Orlando, FL, one sister; Susan Patterson and husband Robert of Kate May, NJ, two brothers; William Updike and Douglas Updike both of Lawrenceville, NJ, numerous grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
