Mrs. Dollie Mae Sheets Miller, age 93, of Glendale Springs passed away Friday, August 7, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at 3PM at Glendale Springs Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Rickie Triplett and Rev. Russell Sheets officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-3pm on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Glendale Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Miller was born in Wilkes County on March 21, 1922. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and will be missed by all. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Miller; a son, Jimmy A. Miller; one daughter, Louise M. Hamby; two sisters; and five brothers. Mrs. Miller is survived by one son; Donald Miller and wife Barbara of Concord, two daughters; Lois A. Miller, and husband Roger of Millers Creek, and Kathy M. Barnes and husband Gary of Glendale Springs, one son-in-law; Robert Hamby of Glendale Springs, eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
