Our deepest and sincerest condolences to the family. Words alone can not ease the pain when grieving the loss of a love one. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. I am so sorry to have heard the news that Ricky passed away. I have known him since the late 80's and always loved picking at him. We shared some good times on the archery range and always enjoyed the ribbing we gave one another. I also had the privilege to spend almost a month working with him last December and we got to talk a lot about the Lord. He also was so very proud of his family and could not wait to see them for Christmas. I know I will miss him and my prayers are with his family.

I had the honor of meeting Ricky at college in 2013. Ricky was and is a special friend to me who talked to me about everything. We would look forward to meeting out in the halls after our classes during breaks and getting to talk. We would have conversations for at least an hour a day Monday through Thursday when I was at the college. I would see him in public a lot too. He would always come up and talk to me no matter if he was in a hurry or not. We would always talk at least an hour in public when we seen one another. We had found out that him and I both loved to kayak. He had told me what kind of kayak to purchase and was very descriptive about telling me what kayak I needed to get so I would be safe in it. He really cared a lot about his friends. Him, my brother, and I had planned a kayaking trip and he had reminded me to call him and we would go sometime in the next couple of months.
He was always considerate of others, loved his friends, was always very positive about things and always gave us something to laugh about in school. My brother, Rick and I loved his stories that he had told to us.
I will miss this man greatly. He was an inspiration to me and I will never forget him. We will kayak in heaven one day <3
Keep strong and hold onto Gods hands. He will help you all through these hard times.

This broke my heart to here this sad news this morning on the radio. Ricky has been a life long friend. I first met him years ago when we both were in martial arts together. We would take turns whipping and kicking each other and always leave beat up and laughing. Ricky and Dennis both have been been good to me ever since i was a little fellow.
