Mr. Bobby Lee Walton, age 67, of Lexington, formerly of Ashe County passed away Thursday morning, August 13, 2015 at NC Baptist Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 3:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J.D. Walton and Rev. Jim Rash officiating. Burial will follow in the Bald Mountain Cemetery. The family will receive on Sunday, August 16, 2015 from 2:00-3:00, one hour prior to the funeral service. Mr. Walton was born in Ashe County, NC on Thursday, August 21, 1947 to the late Coy Lee and Connie Houck Walton. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Michelle Walton, one brother, Richard Walton, and a nephew, Allen Walton. Mr. Walton is survived by two brothers; Steve Walton and wife Linda of Lansing, and Michael Walton of West Jefferson, sister-in-law, Gay Walton of West Jefferson, several aunts and uncles; Clyde and Mae Houck of Lexington, Don and Diane Houck of West Jefferson, Edward and Maxine Houck of Lexington, Jean Walton Rash of West Jefferson, and Lula Belle and Franklin Michaels of Lexington, several nieces and nephews also survive.
