Mrs. Beulah Farmer Hamm, age 80, of West Jefferson passed away Saturday morning, August 15, 2015 at Margate Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at the Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Dollar, Rev. Danny Joe Farmer, and Rev. David Lyalls officiating. Burial will follow in the Ashelawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening, August 17, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Boone Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Hamm was born in Grayson County, Virginia on May 8, 1935 to the late Wiley Thomas and Ada Wingler Farmer. Her husband also called her “Toot”. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all. She is preceded in death by her husband, James William Hamm; a daughter, Sharon Ham Hartsoe; and grandson, Christopher Johnson. Mrs. Hamm is survived by three sons; Mike Ham of West Jefferson, Mark Ham and wife Beth of Zebulon, NC, and Mack William Ham and wife Carla of West Jefferson; one daughter, Pama Ham Taylor and husband Robert of Lansing; one brother, James Farmer of Lansing, one sister; Clara Surber of Crumpler; four grandchildren; Autumn Cline and husband Bob of West Jefferson, Jessica Guyton and husband Cody of West Jefferson, Caroline Ham of Creston, and Curtis Johnson of Azle, TX; one great-grandchild, Orion Kilpatrick of Van, TX; and several nieces and nephews also survive. A special thanks to Margate Health and Rehab and Caldwell Hospice, also a special thank you to her roommate at Margate, Dorothy Wilson. Flowers Accepted!
