Mr. Robert Franklin Branton, III, better known as "Frankie" age 31, of Daytona Beach, Florida, formally of West Jefferson passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 3:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Harless officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from 1:00-3:00pm; two hours prior to the funeral service. Frankie was born in San Diego, California on December 10, 1983 to the late Robert Franklin Branton, Jr. and Alice Margaret Phillips Branton. He worked as a Car Salesman at a Cadillac dealership in Florida. He loved the ocean and watching the sunset every night. He ran on the beach every morning. He enjoyed fishing and swimming in his spare time. He was also preceded in death by his grandfathers, William McPherison and Robert L. Phillips. Mr. Branton is survived by his mother, Alice Phillips Branton of West Jefferson; two sisters, Ashleigh Branton and husband, Michael Herke, of West Jefferson and Michelle Johnson and husband, Eric, of Oklahoma; paternal grandparents, Robert Franklin Branton, Sr. and Nancy R. Branton, of Pensacola, Florida; maternal grandmother, Margaret McPherison, of Orlando, Florida; his girlfriend, Katie Begtrup of Daytona, Florida; a niece, Tamsyn Herke; a nephew, Seamus Herke; a uncle Terry Branton of Sneads Ferry, NC; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
