Mrs. Betty Sue Hart Brooks Eller, age 75, of West Jefferson passed away Monday morning, September 14, 2015 at NC Baptist Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Dollar & Rev. Bobby Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Brooks Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00pm on Thursday, two hours prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Eller was born in Ashe County on Saturday, December 2, 1939 to the late Robert and Blanche Neaves Hart. She worked as a Seamstress. She was a member of Oak Grove Union Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Eller; a son, Michael Dean Brooks; a brother, Warner Baxter Hart. Mrs. Eller is survived by a daughter, Deborah Brooks Tolbert, of Jefferson; a son, Mark Brooks and wife, Geneva (Howell) Brooks, of Jefferson; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great, great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
