Mr. Virgil Lee Vickers, better known as "Lee" age 55, of Lansing passed away Tuesday morning, October 6, 2015 at his home. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00pm on Friday, October 9, 2015 at Boone Family Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Vickers was born in Havre de Grace, Maryland on July 9, 1960 to Venus Virgil (Jim) and Martha Miller Vickers. He worked for Bare Brothers House Movers and Staley's Insulation. Mr. Vickers is survived by his wife, Faye Clark; his parents, Jim and Martha Vickers, of Lansing; a sister, Kathy Linda Lewis, of Jefferson; two step daughters, Judy Miller, of West Jefferson and Diane Osborne and husband, Andy, of Creston; two step sons, Allen Miller and wife, April, of Lansing and Scotty Taylor and wife, Heather, of Glendale Springs; eight step grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
