Mr. John William Howell better known as "Bill" age 87, of Jefferson passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015 at his home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Howell was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 19, 1927 to the late Pete and Lelia Theiss Howell. He was a retired engineer from the United States Marines. Mr. Howell is survived by: his wife, Ann DeLaney Howell; a daughter, Kim Howell, of Covington, Louisiana; a half-sister, Clair Borschim of New York; several nieces and nephews also survive.
