Mrs. Helen S. Williams, age 97, of Jefferson passed away Friday morning at Margate Health & Rehab Center. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2PM at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Jones, Rev. Steve Witherspoon, Elder Robert Shatley, and Rev. Carl Witherspoon officiating. Burial will follow in the Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm on Monday at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Williams was born in Ashe County, on August 11, 1918 to the late Troy and Annie Calloway Shatley. She is preceded in death by her husband; Wade John Williams, and a daughter; Libbie Williams Glenn. She is survived by one brother; Clarence Shatley and wife Gladys of Crumpler, and several nieces and nephews also survive. Flowers Accepted!
