Mr. Robert Everette Church, better known as "Bob", age 68, of Todd passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 at his residence. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 8:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Roten and Rev. JD Walton officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Wednesday at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mr. Church was born in Ashe County on November 27, 1946 to the late Charles Clifford and Fannie Pearl Parsons Church. He loved bluegrass music and all of his animals. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Stewart Church. Mr. Church is survived by his wife, Jean Williams Church; one son, Chad Church and wife Andrea of Fleetwood; two daughters, Shannon Carroll and husband Charlie of Deep Gap, and Kimberly Bays and husband Dale of Lenoir; one brother, Roy Church of Florida; two sisters, Jan Derks of California and Brenda Oliver of Fleetwood; six grandchildren, Chase Church, Chaley Church, Brooklin Carroll, Bryson Carroll, Michael Bays, and Matthew Bays; mother-in-law, Volree Good of West Jefferson, and a sister-in-law, Brenda Wellborn of Wilkesboro also survives.
