Mr. Michael David Hamm, age 49, of Crumpler, died Tuesday evening, May 12, 2009 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 2pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Warner Eller, Rev. Dennis Blevins and Rev. David Blackburn officiating. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9pm on Friday, May 15, 2009 at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mr. Hamm was born in Harford County, Maryland on Saturday, December 12, 1959 to Lawrence Lee Hamm and Shirley Joann Blackburn Hamm. He worked in construction as an Asphalt Roller Operator. Mr. Hamm is survived by his fiance, Amy Barker of Crumpler; two sons, Michael Ham and fiance, Amanda, of Crumpler and Lee Ham and wife, Crystal, of Creston; his parents, Lawrence & Shirley Blackburn Hamm of Crumpler; three brothers, Robert Hamm, of Creston, Dale Hamm, of Crumpler and Kermit Hamm, of Sparta; three sisters, Karen Jones, of Grassy Creek, Michelle Baldwin, of Crumpler and Ericka Kittman, of Crumpler; two grandchildren, Trethan Ham and Kaylin Ham, all of Creston; several nieces and nephews also survive.
