Mr. Allen Bernard Miller, better known as “Louis” age 74, of Jefferson passed away Thursday. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 2:00PM at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Karen Miller. Burial will follow in the Holy Trinity Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12-2pm at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mr. Miller was born March 8, 1941 in Ashe County, NC to Gilbert Allen and Helen Malassia Miller. He was the owner and operator of Raccoon Holler. He enjoyed working with the campers at the campground. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and will be missed by all. He is preceded in death by two brothers; Donald Wayne Miller and Stewart Clay Miller, and one sister; Lois Ellen Miller. He is survived by his wife, Janet McLeod Miller; one daughter, Lisa Camp and husband Clay of Jefferson, one granddaughter; Courtney Camp of Jefferson, and two nephews.
