Barkley, I am so sorry about the death of Lee. I know the pain you are going through by his death. The hardest thing
so far in my life has been the death of "My Baby Jim". I want you to know that you are and have been in my prayers, and if I can ever help you or if you just want someone to talk to or to cry with I am here. My daughter
Camara loves your family and
she thinks you are the greatest. Love in Christ, Elaine

Barkley and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Lee's passing. I am so glad I was able to meet your family and get to know you all over the past 9 months, even though it was through IMC.
Barkley, you were a very faithful wife to stand by Lee both day and night, day after day during his hospital stay. May God bless you.
To the sons and grandchildren, I know Lee loved you all very much. Many days he would talk about you all and about the ball games Richie was playing.
My heart goes out to you all, I know personally it is hard to have sickness in the family and we might not understand why good people get so sick but just remember, once the numbness goes away and everyone goes back to thier daily living that God will be there for you to talk to and hold you while you cry.

Lee Absher expressed all the most wonderful attributes of humanity from his strong and healthy eyes. As his body strength traveled a highway of twists and turns due to illness, his eyes never lost the vibrance and strength I saw in them. It was no surprise to find his family so devoted and loving. What else could this man have created and participated in.
The Lord will surely say "Job well done..."
I already miss him during these short few days.
I am a patient caretaker at WFUBMC.
