Our deepest and sincerest condolences to the family. Words alone can not ease the pain when grieving the loss of a love one. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". May God give you and your family comfort in your loving memories and in His promise that soon we will never experience losing our loved ones in death and we will be able to see them again once they resurrected as per John 5:28-29. May these words give you a new hope, with deepest sympathy and warmth of heart.

Ruth and Johnny...I loved John D just like an uncle. Ruth , you and John D were always there for all the family functions whether they were for fun, anniversaries, parties, weddings as well as the sad times when we had to say good bye to loved ones.
I can never remember a time when both of you were not singing in the choir at church. I have such wonderful memories of you both.
Love and Hugs,
Brenda

John, Suzanne, Will, Madison, Liza and Ms. Ruth, I think you all realize how much Eve, Sarah and I thought of Mr. John D., he made us feel very comfortable being a part of his family. He was such a kind, gentle, friendly, soft spoken man that you couldn't help but love him. He always made us feel so welcome at dinners and other especial holidays. He was a fine man to share your grandchildren with. He loved those children as much as we do. He used to often tell me what a blessing Suzanne had been to him and his family as John is to ours. I used to love to listen to all the history of his life, a man that was committed to his church, to his community, to his family, to his friends and to his country. He had a lot of life experiences to talk about. He used to talk to Eve and I about the different places where he was stationed while in the Philippines during the war, being my wife is from the Philippines her and John D. always have a lot to talk about. He was very proud of his service to his country. He was a type of gentleman that most man should always thrive to be including myself he was always so kind and sweet to Ms. Ruth a fine example for any husband to follow. He was truly a blessing to all of us, I'm sure that he is in a much better place right now. He will surely be missed by all that had the honor and privileged of knowing him especially his family, but we all have assurance that we will see him again one day. I am so proud that we can call him our friend. WE LOVE YOU MR. JOHN D. Johnny, Eve and Sarah
