Mrs. Patsy Sue Eller Taylor, better known as "Pat" age 57, of West Jefferson passed away Saturday afternoon, February 6, 2016 at her home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 3:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Todd Brewer officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00pm on Saturday, one hour prior to the memorial service. Mrs. Taylor was born in Alexandria, Virginia on Monday, March 17, 1958 to the late John Ernest (Ernie) and Myrtle Jean Woodie Eller. She taught school at Mt. Jefferson Day Care and substituted at Mt. View Elementary School for many years. She loved to stay at the ocean and feel the sun on her face. In her spare time she also enjoyed baking. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister; she will be missed by all. She is survived by her fiancé, Carson Parsons, of West Jefferson; a daughter, Jamie Holman and husband Chad, of Jefferson; a brother, Steve Eller and wife, Kay, of West Jefferson; a granddaughter, Kaylyn Holman; several nieces and nephews also survive.
