Mrs. Sandy Kay Sebosky Ritchie, age 46, of Laurel Springs passed away Friday, March 4, 2016 at her home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 12:00 pm at Laurel Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Stanley Spence and Rev. Kevin McCormac officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:00pm on Friday, one hour prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Ritchie was born in Dade County, Florida on July 11, 1969 to Curtis Raul Edgerly and Lana Turnbull. She worked as a cashier at Lowe's Improvement Center in West Jefferson. Mrs. Ritchie is survived by her husband, Chip Ritchie; a son, Brandon Montgomery Smith, of Mooresville; a daughter, Abby Gail Smith, of Mooresville; her father, Curtis Edgerly, of Denver Colorado; her mother, Lana Turnbull, of Denver, Colorado; a sister, Christine Higgins of Hawaii; a half-brother, Curtis Edgerly, Jr, of Iowa; a half-sister, Alice Ebanks, of Tennessee; two aunts, Sheree Turnbull of Florida and Sharon Burough of Colorado; two step daughters, Melia R. Wright, of Christiansburg, VA and Sarah E. Ritchie, of Concord; a step grandson, Barrett L. Wright, of Christiansburg, VA; several nieces and nephews also survive.
