Mr. Keith Allan Huffman, age 53, of Crumpler passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care Center. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at 2:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lonnie Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00pm on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mr. Huffman was born in Ashe County on August 4, 1962 to the late Robert Hardin and Ruth Elliott Huffman. He was a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church. Keith had many careers; he was owner of Choice Center Homes and Boone Kubota but his true love was H3 Cattle Company, where he farmed and raised his cattle with his sons. He enjoyed playing poker, hunting, playing golf and travelling. He traveled to all 50 states, Mexico, Argentina, Canada and Japan. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather; he will be missed by all. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Huffman; two sons, Ryan Huffman and wife, Meaghan, of Crumpler and Preston Huffman and wife, Holly of Crumpler; a daughter, Brittany Phillips and husband, Justin, of west Jefferson; a sister, Sandra Snow and husband, Tim, of Elkin; three grandchildren, Reagan Caroline Phillips, Austin Keith Phillips and Silas Keith Huffman; several cousins also survive.
