Mr. William Rue, better known as "Bill", age 86, of West Jefferson died Wednesday night, May 20, 2009 at his residence. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2009 at 2pm at Peppler Funeral Home in Allentown, New Jersey. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Hightstown, New Jersey. Mr. Rue was born in Rhode Hall, New Jersey on Tuesday, September 12, 1922 to the late William Herman and Mary Farr VanAken. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He is survived by a daughter, Linda Bencze and husband, Mike, of Creston; four grandchildren, Jamie Kathleen, of Boone, Courtney Allison, of Brooklyn, NY, Chester William Rue, Jr. of Iraq and David Lewis Rue, of Mountain City, TN also survive.
