Obituary of Betty Louise Severt

Mrs. Betty Louise Osborne Severt, age 68, of Ennice passed away Sunday morning, April 17, 2016 at her home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 2:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Russell Sheets, Brother Ed Hall and Rev. David Lyalls officiating. Burial will follow in the Osborne Family Cemetery in Lansing. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 from 6:00-8:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Severt was born in Ashe County on Monday, May 26, 1947 to the late Lee and Roseallie Woods Osborne. She was a Homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and caring for her family. She also enjoyed travelling and going camping. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother and grandmother; she will be missed by all. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Morris Severt and a brother, Jessie Osborne. Mrs. Severt is survived by a son, Robert Severt and wife, Crystal, of East Bend, NC; a daughter, Patty Norman and husband William (W.G.), of Yadkinville; three brothers, Ed Osborne, of Jefferson, Bud Osborne and wife, Wanda, of Lansing and Bill Osborne, of Jefferson; four sisters, Margaret McCoy, of Creston, Pearl Jones and husband, Clyde, of West Jefferson, Pauline Lynch and husband, Arvie, of Lansing and Mary Lyalls and husband, R.H., of Warrensville; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews also survive. Flowers will be accepted. The family will be meeting at the home place at 1293 Wagoner Ridge Road in Ennice
