Mrs. Helen Jones Lyle, age 72, of Wilkesboro passed away Sunday night, April 17, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 2PM at Warrensville Baptist Church with Rev. Wade Huntsinger officiating. Burial will follow in the Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 from 6-8pm at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Lyle was born on July 4, 1943 to the late Lue and Ruth Jenkins Jones. Mrs. Lyle was a member of Warrensville Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She was a Carolina Tar Heels Fan and attended the Late Night with Roy Williams. She also enjoyed working in her yard and flowers. She loved her family, nieces and nephews and will be missed by all. She is preceded in death by her husband; Preston Lyle, and a brother; Walter Edward Jones. Mrs. Lyle is survived by her sister; Chris Walker Gurley and husband Raymond of Millers Creek, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
