Mrs. Ethelene Elliott Miller, age 87, of West Jefferson passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Margate Health & Rehab Center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 3:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve LeaShomb, Rev. Ken Morris and Nephew Larry Elliott officiating. Burial will follow in the Ashelawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm Friday, April 29, 2016 at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Miller was born in Ashe County on Saturday, April 13, 1929 to the late Fieldon Millard and Agnes Jones Elliott. She retired from Sara Lee Knit Products, after working for 34 years as a Supervisor. She enjoyed crocheting and cooking for her family and friends. She was a loving mother and grandmother; she will be missed by all. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Miller; a sister, Edith Elliott; two brothers, Fred Elliott and Wayne Elliott. Mrs. Miller is survived by a daughter, Kathy Sheets and husband, Earl, of West Jefferson; a brother, Paul J. Elliott, of West Jefferson; a granddaughter, Ragan Sheets, of Charlotte; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family respectfully requests no food please. Flowers will be appreciated.
