Our deepest and sincerest condolences to the family. Words alone can not ease the pain when grieving the loss of a love one. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". May God give you and your family comfort in your loving memories and in His promise that soon we will never experience losing our loved ones in death and we will be able to see them again once they resurrected as per John 5:28-29. May these words give you a new hope, with deepest sympathy and warmth of heart.

I'm sorry for your lost. I been friends with Shane back when he worked at Freightliner in hickory in the mid 90's. I worked at the IH dealer, we shared info to each other when needed. We came really good friends and stayed in touch, either by calling or text. He came to boone and ate supper with my wife and I around Christmas. We talked and talked for hours about old times. I would drop in on him when I was up there as well. I'm so sorry that I didn't find out until 5-16-16 about the tragic accident. I writing this to let you Shane will be dearly miss by all and me as a friend as well. I'm still in complete shock about this, but this is helping me tell you the family just how far Shane friendship touched others, especially me.

Got some really sad news yesterday. My first friend outside of family that I ever remember having, who grew up in my small Bald Mtn community on the other side of the hill from our church, was killed in a lawn mower accident. We shared our Kindergarten class together, were 'end-of-the-route' bus buddies on Roy Elliot's #24, graduated high school together, and even shared our name:) Shane Walton was the best version of a "country boy" you'll ever find. Never a dull moment with him in the room! Our whole Beaver Creek Class of 95 loved him, and he'll be greatly missed by all who knew him. #GoneTooSoon
