Mrs. Eleanor Muriel Kuebler Sheldon, age 91, of Forest Ridge Assisted Living center passed away Friday morning, June 3, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 12:30pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lawrence Goodman, Rev. Steve Ashley and Rev. John Elledge officiating. Burial will follow in the Bald Mountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 11:00-12:30pm; prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Sheldon was born in New York on August 22, 1924 to the late John Jacob and Estelle Kuebler. She enjoyed doing crafts but most of all caring for her family. She was a wonderful cook. She enjoyed fellowshipping with everyone; she had a quote "Be nice to people and they will be nice to you." She was a loving mother and grandmother; she will be missed by all. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Robert Sheldon; a son, Thomas James Sheldon; two brothers, Robert (Bobby) Kuebler and James Kuebler. Mrs. Sheldon is survived by three sons, Brian Sheldon and wife, Bonnie, of West Jefferson, Daniel Sheldon and wife, Sheila, of Lynn Haven, Florida and Steve Sheldon, of Manhattan, New York; a grandson, Christopher Sheldon of Lynn Haven, FL; a brother, John Kuebler, of Inverness, Florida; three sisters, Estelle Holoman, of Chocowinity, NC, Betty Verderosa Padula, of Toms River, New Jersey and Maureen Hughes, of Montague, New Jersey; several nieces and nephews also survive.
