Mrs. Gladys Baldwin Reeves, age 101, of Lansing passed away Monday morning, June 13, 2016 at her home. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 11AM at Johnson-Reeves Cemetery with Rev. Larry Shepherd officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from 6-8pm at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Reeves was born in Ashe County on May 15, 1915 to the late Grover and Flora Carter Baldwin. She enjoyed quilting and horseback riding. She also spent time working in her garden and flowers. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all. She is preceded in death by her husband; Charles Howard Reeves. She survived by a daughter; Brenda Reeves of Lansing, three grandchildren; Sharon Price and husband Paul of Lansing, Justin Bunton and wife Jessica of Lansing, and Wesley Bunton and wife Teresa of Abingdon, MD, five great-grandchildren; Daniel Price, Mason Price, Skylar Bunton, Hannah Bunton, and Jude Bunton.
