Mr. Walter James Shaw, age 82, of Lansing passed away Saturday afternoon, June 25, 2016 at his residence. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Mr. Shaw was born in Pikesville, WV on May 17, 1934 to the late Roby Shaw and Carrie Lawrence. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ruth Miller Shaw, and a grandson, Benjamin Thomas Shaw. He is survived by three sons; James Michael Shaw and wife Charlotte of Lansing, Gary Shaw and wife Peggy of Jefferson, and Johnny Shaw, Sr. and wife Sue of the home, one daughter; Karen Shaw and fiancé Tom Kimple of Jefferson, ten grandchildren, one step-grandson, eleven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive, and special friends; Jim Farmer and Terry Mahaffey. The family will be meeting at the home, 457 East Big Springs Road, Lansing.
