Mr. James Luther Mitchell, better known as “Jim”, age 93, of Creston passed away Wednesday morning, August 24, 2016 at Forest Ridge Assisted Living. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11AM at Ashelawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Russel Hart officiating. Mr. Mitchell was born on February 2, 1923 in Oxford, Pennsylvania to the late George and Margaret Mitchell. He is survived by his wife Betty Mock Mitchell; three brothers-in-law, Bruce Mock of Warrensville, Jess Mock of Creston, and Jack Mock of West Jefferson; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
