Mr. Julian Dallas Carper, better known as "Dallas", age 77, of West Jefferson passed away Saturday morning, October 1, 2016 at Margate Health and Rehab. A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 4:00pm at Midway Baptist Church with Rev. Steve LeaShomb officiating. Mr. Carper was born in Haywood County, North Carolina on September 9, 1939 to the late John and Jessie Wike Carper. He served in the Navy. Dallas was a member of Midway Baptist Church. He is survived by his dog; Maxine.
