Mr. Jeremy Adam Baker, age 33, of Sparta, formerly of Ashe County passed away Wednesday evening, October 5, 2016 at Alleghany Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 8:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Elledge and Rev. Roger Blevins officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Tuesday; two hours prior to the memorial service. Mr. Baker was born in Watuaga County on Friday, May 20, 1983 to Martin Haynes and Regina Coldiron Baker. He was a Dallas Cowboys football fan. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. He will be missed by all. He is preceded in death by his brother; Josh Baker. He is survived by his parents; Martin and Regina Baker of Sparta, his maternal grandmother; Helen Coldiron of Fleetwood, two nephews; Matthew and Taylor Baker, three aunts; Pat Roark, Diane Choate, and Pam Ellis, two uncles; Ricky Coldiron and Ronald Coldiron also survives.
